Here's a prayer request we have
About three years ago we got a calling to start a bigger conference for young adults. Whatever had been started as a hangout for 10-20 young people in a country house in the woods, grew into a conference for more than 100 people from over 15 regions of the country.
All this time we've come across fierce opposition. We were told to stop, to do something else, to chill and stuff like that. But we knew the conference was and is a part of God's plan. We couldn't let ourselves give up. Thankfully there has always been a group of people who continued to support the vision. There's a great verse one of them reminded me of the other day: "Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit - says the Lord." This is a verse I used to be in love with when I was a young Christian, but then I forgot it.
This time we will do the conference again. We prayed and sought the Lord and know it is His will. We will take all possible precautions, we will try to be wise. We need your prayers. The topic for the conference this time is going to be "The person and the work of the Holy Spirit". We will gather together January 3 to 6 to seek the Lord, pray, worship, study the Word to allow God to work in us. We got to be equipped, encouraged, taught, convicted, and stirred up for Him.
Please be praying for us over the next few days. We do need this. This is how battles are won. Not by might, not by power, but by God's Holy Spirit.
